LatinSuccess

LatinSuccess is a nonprofit corporation, an important initiative from the private sector in the United States, with the aim of uniting efforts with the United States Government, US Corporations, the Bi-national Centers of Latin America (BNC’s), and other civil organizations to build up strong relations between Latin America and the United States. Our motivation is to further develop our younger generations, creating opportunities for them, motivating and celebrating their success, supporting and recognizing the achievements of individuals and their contributions to the wellbeing of their communities. It encourages staff initiative and leadership, and strives to be a model nonprofit organization.

Vision

Latin Success is recognized as a leading US non-profit corporation for joining efforts with the Bi-national Centers of Latin America, US Corporations and Personal Development Companies, in favor of young adults, helping them to invest in the most valuable asset they have: Themselves. With international exposure through the media, the corporation is very grateful for the financial support from individuals and companies from the American Continent as a whole.

Mission

Our mission is to build up stronger bonds between the United States and Latin America by creating opportunities for senior university students through cultural encounters, personal development programs, and exposure to US corporations through work experience. We are committed to nurturing and encouraging young generations to live their dreams and reach higher than they ever imagined on their own.

Goals and Objectives

The long range goal of this program is to bring 180 outstanding Latin American students to the United States, for a period of 30 days. These will be prominent students who have finished or are about to finish their universities studies, visiting the US for the first time.

The short term goal is to accomplish a Pilot Project by June 2010, selecting, inviting, and providing the necessary means to bring to the United States 2 outstanding Latin American students, recently graduated from university, one selected by CEVAZ in Venezuela and the other one by CEN in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The results from the Pilot Project will be presented at the ABLA 2010 Conference, which will be held by the end of July 2010 in Cali, Colombia, to encourage the actual 120 Latin American bi-national centers to participate in LatinSuccess’ GOAL 180 Program.
